Dr. Bob Ahern

PSYCHOTHERAPIST - Ph.D.,M.DIV, LISW-S

You are not alone. You matter. We can do this together.

  • We all need comfort and nurturing in life. I aim to be warm, supportive, helpful, innovative, and creative in my approach. Integrating the heart, mind, and spirit can foster a sense of freedom and aliveness. Key elements for authentic change include feeling accepted, unjudged, and cared for. I cherish working with clients who have faced life's challenges and are eager to make positive changes for a happier and more meaningful life. With over 35 years of experience in therapy, I believe hope is real, and you can achieve your goals.

  • I specialize in working with partner betrayal trauma, as well as with people who have depression, anxiety, trauma, life transition, grief and loss, religious/spiritual concerns, and sexual/intimacy issues. Or, if you just don’t feel your life is fulfilling and you feel stuck and really aren’t sure what your problems may be, I encourage you to contact me. I'm also an award-winning instructor at the Ohio State University where I teach mental health therapy.
